Training content
The Pekiti Tirsia Kali (PTK) is a dynamic fighting system that can be trained seamlessly from self-defense against one or more attackers to a duel/sparring match. The focus of the training is on handling and defending against bladed weapons such as knives or similar.
In this 7-day training camp, Tuhon Dipita Schäfer will show the participants the dynamics and effectiveness of the PTK in over 50 hours. From basic drills to advanced methods, participants are guided step by step. All categories are developed, from unarmed to single weapons and double weapons, further to long and flexible weapons. PTK offers a wide range of weapon types and yet combines them all under one system. The transferability of the system to all types of weapons makes Pekiti Tirsia Kali one of the best combat systems in the world.
The aim of this training camp is to provide participants with solid and advanced knowledge and skills in Pekiti Tirsia Kali on their way. The training is based on the way Tuhon Dipita Schäfer himself was taught from Grandtuhon Leo t. Gaje in the Philipines.
Suitable for whom
On the one hand, this training camp is suitable for anyone who wants to deal with self-protection and self-defense. On the other hand, those interested in Filipino martial arts and, last but not least, martial arts and combat artists of all other disciplines who are looking for expertise in weapon handling and the transferability to a weaponless system.
Beginners are just as welcome as advanced users. Tuhon Dipita Schäfer can easily accommodate beginners and advanced learners at their respective level and will adapt each individual’s training according to their level.
